About Marlin Coast Rangers Football Club

At Marlin Coast Rangers Football Club, we've been playing out of Pennell Field in Trinity Beach since 1946, serving families across the Northern Beaches and greater Cairns. What started as local weekend football now stretches from Mini Rangers for three to five-year-olds right up to senior grades. In between sit MiniRoos at U6 to U12, junior competitive and FQPL squads from U13 through Youth U18, and FQPL U23 sides for both men and women. Senior football runs through Premier Men's, Premier Women's and Men's Divisions 1 and 2. The club is run by a committee of volunteers, most of them parents or former players. We'd rather build something that holds up over decades than chase a quick result, and 80 years in, that still feels like the right call.
